Can I participate using a smartphone or tablet.

Yes you can, however we advise that you use a larger device to ensure that all of the detail is clear to the eye.

Do I need to install any software to compete.

Accepted Answer

No. The Microsoft form is stand alone software and only requires the basic operating system and internet access to work.

Do you support low‑bandwidth connections.

We recommend a minimum bandwidth of 10mbps.

What should I do if my device crashes during a round.

Accepted Answer

You must make sure that your device is fully charged and that you have full uninterrupted internet access at all times. If your device crashes you will have to start the competition again. The timed deadline will not change so we advise you to write down all of your answers as you go along.

What file formats are accepted for submissions.

Mono or stereo mp3 and wav files are accepted up to 48khz.

Is there a maximum file size for uploads.

Accepted Answer

Yes. For Gdrive uploads the limit is 25MB but can be up to 2GB if you use a 3rd party FTP such as Wetransfer

How do I check if my upload was successful.

Your internet host provider should acknowledge a successful delivery or a failure to deliver

Can I replace a file after uploading it.

No. Once your audio submission has been received you cannot alter your entry.

Is my personal data protected on your platform.

Yes. We do not use your personal data in anyway other than to offer smooth running of the competitions. We are not liable for any leaks beyond our control.

How do I reset my password?

You only get a password if you have registered as a member. Follow your profile area and change your password there.

Can I change my email address after registering.

Yes but you need to make us aware by email only. Verbal communications will not suffice.

Can I use multiple devices during the competition?

Yes you can but this can cause a handshake issue with erasing data from your second device. We strongly advise that you only use 1 device.

Does the platform save my progress automatically?

No. You have to manually submit your competition papers. At that point you will get instant confirmation and your score will be displayed.

Do you offer accessibility features for participants with disabilities?

The competitions can be read by most screen readers but we advise any blind or partially sighted students to ask their parent/guardian to email us informing us of your situation. This way we will be able to have time to confirm and maximise your accessibility to the papers.
