Looking ahead to Schools future award ceremonies, we are exploring plans with teachers to elevate how we celebrate student achievement across every key stage. To mark exceptional performance in our school competitions, top achievers will be presented with physical awards designed to serve as lasting mementos of their hard work.

Awards

Platinum Gold, Silver, and Bronze tier Medals: Awarded to top-tier finishers in each key stage, housed in keepsake boxes to protect and display student achievements. Picture for illustration purposes. Alternatives may be awarded.

Become a published author!

School Events are celebrating outstanding achievement across both numerical and creative subjects. Our flagship Mathematician of the Year and Musician of the Year awards offer students a rare opportunity to go beyond performance and step directly into the world of becoming a published author with School Events!

Winners earn the opportunity to contribute original content to our official published books:

Mathematician of the Year: The winner works alongside our team to write original mathematical questions.. Their contributions are published in our books!
Musician of the Year: The winner crafts original compositional questions, or creative arrangements. These are published in our School Events workbooks, providing next year's competitors with student-written material.

Customised presentation videos

Schools have access to custom presentation videos featuring their own students, designed specifically to inspire interest in both mathematics and music.

How the Videos Work

Custom Content: Each video features highlights of participants from your specific school who competed in past events.
Assembly-Ready Format: The short, engaging edits are structured to drop directly into full-school or key-stage assemblies with no extra preparation needed.
Complimentary Access: Provided free of charge by School Events to participating schools to help launch upcoming competitions to build student enjoyment & engagement in Maths and Music.

Tier-based Cash Prize Structure

School Events is introducing a tier-based cash prize structure for top overall winners.

Cash prize amounts are calculated based solely on the number of paid entries for a given competition. Please note -

As our event planning progresses, we are currently exploring potential prize concepts that could be introduced for our online competitions towards the end of 2027. To ensure these rewards offer meaningful pathways into education and professional fields, our team is seeking early-stage advice and guidance from advisors across industry, commerce, artistic management, software, engineering, and accounting.
