Richard Synnott

Richard Synnott has been totally blind for all of his life but he has never seen this as a barrier. He is a fully qualified and Steinway approved piano tuner and master of harmony at the piano. He was awarded winner of (until that time) the world's best piano tuner as hosted by Bechstein. He has featured for over 30 years with Wales' most prolific Folk Band and we are delighted that he accepted the post as Senior Disabilities Co-ordinator. His mission with us is to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to compete in our competitions without fear of any discrimination no matter what!

He is a World Class jazz pianist, improvisational harmonist, Saxophonist, vocalist and a prolific composer.
