Timothy Bedford

School Events are thrilled to have Mr Timothy Bedford B.Mus (Hons) M.A, leading our maths and music projects! Timothy is very skilled at inspiring every learner's quest for knowledge. His skills will give students the opportunity to continually strengthen their learning and education through our individual maths and music competitions. Each paper is crafted to nurture growth, curiosity, and ongoing improvement in their chosen field.
Maths & Music Experience.
Now a senior advisor guiding School Events into 2026, he blends curriculum learning with imaginative mathematical ideas. A quantum enthusiast, he’s inspired by 60 Symbols and Tom Rocks Maths, whom he’s previously enjoyed working with.
A classically trained commercial composer from the Royal Academy of Music, Timothy Bedford studied under Professor Nick Ingman and went on to create music for 104 television programmes, iconic adverts for brands like Duracell and Persil, and even performed with Sir Elton John and for Princess Diana. Alongside music, his passion for maths shines through sound design, frequency analysis, and the fascinating behaviour of waves. These studies were realised in a Masters Degree in music technology at The University of Bangor, North Wales.
Once again, School Events is delighted to welcome Timothy and proudly looks forward to him bringing his exceptional talents to our maths and music projects in the years ahead. His energy, creativity, and passion for education will be a fantastic addition to everything we do!
