Certificates of Participation and Achievement
Every Child
Shines!

A core part of our ethos is celebrating every single child!

Entering a School Events online competition is all about helping pupils discover a fun, confidence‑boosting side of maths. Our papers are partially curriculum based but overall they are designed to be enjoyable, educational, accessible, and suitable for all abilities. Pupils can take an inspiring journey from County, to Regional, and finally to our National Competition, with every stage created to build pride, confidence, and a love of learning.

-
First, every pupil receives a Certificate of Participation (e‑certificate), because we believe all skill levels deserve recognition. These certificates can be printed and proudly framed at home or displayed in school, a simple but powerful way to help children feel valued, motivated, and excited about maths.

-
Second, each pupil also receives an achievement (e‑certificate) showing their competition level, Distinction, Merit, Pass, or Below Pass. This means every child receives two certificates, both designed to encourage perseverance and celebrate their personal maths journey.

-
And third, these certificates make wonderful keepsakes for families and can also be used in personal/school portfolios, showcasing a pupil’s commitment, character, and enthusiasm for learning. They can even support applications for roles within school, such as Head Girl, Head Boy, School Council, Prefect, or other school leadership positions where dedication and achievement matter.

From pre-school through Key Stage 1 and all the way to Key Stage 5, these certificates become lasting reminders of effort, progress, and pride.

Congratulations to every pupil who takes part! Every certificate is a celebration of courage, growth, and possibility!
